Our Chinese Medicine ambassador, this station is often manned by students in the process of completing their master’s degree in Chinese Medicine. In addition to answering any questions you might have about the medicine in general, the Greeter can help you pick out teas, pick up formulas that have already been filled as ordered by your practitioner or retrieve ready-made (patent) medicine suggested by your practitioner. If you are interested in a professional recommendation but do not know where to begin, try our Find a Practitioner resource for patients. Should the Greeter be busy with another customer, feel free to ask our Customer Service representatives for assistance.

Customer Service

Here you will often find up to four Customer Service representatives at any time busy receiving formula filling orders. Practitioners send their orders by phone, fax, email, or through our web-based ordering system, Kamwo Practitioners Online. If you have any concerns with your formula, please speak to our representatives here.

Bulk (Raw) Herb Dispensary

We carry over 500 pharmacy grade Chinese bulk (raw) herbs--one of the largest selections in the US. Once a practitioner has placed an order, our trained technicians fill the raw herb formula at this station. When completed, the formulas are then filed behind the Cashier for customer and messenger pick-up or sent to Shipping for packaging.

Premium Loose Leaf Teas

As a direct importer, we are able to bring you top quality Chinese teas at affordable prices. Our selection includes organic, white, green, oolong and red ("black") teas. Feel free to ask our Customer Service representatives about differences between varieties.

Once the Greeter has helped you pick up your medicine and/or tea, the Cashier will ring you up here.

Grand Meridian Clinic

Established in 1998, Grand Meridian is a full-service clinic, complete with four treatment rooms. Our staff is trained and licensed in Oriental Medicine, offering services in Acupuncture, Herbology and Tui Na Bodywork/Acupressure. Treatment is by appointment only, 7-days a week.

Vacuum Packing Facility

All our vacuum packs are BPA-free and processed onsite here in our FDA registered facility. After the raw herb formulas are cooked to specification, they are packaged at 93-95 degrees Celsius to ensure stability. These packs are hygienic, tough, and can be shipped directly to you.

Granular Processing

Here we have a full granule formulary with over 300 single herbs and over 300 traditional formulas. Practitioners can order your custom made formula in either powdered granule form or in capsules. We ensure the safety and precision of our granule formula filling with the use of our innovative Granule Accuracy Check (GAC) system. The GAC is a computerized program complete with integrated scale and barcode technology designed specifically to address the potential for human error. Today, granules make up the majority of formulas filled at Kamwo.
