Sharps Disposal Policy

Kamwo Herbal Pharmacy offers a safe way to dispose of used acupuncture needles.

Practitioners can drop off their full sharps containers for a small disposal fee (depending upon the size of the container). Kamwo only accepts biohazard sharps containers for disposal if they are:

a) purchased at Kamwo and have a Kamwo label on each container,

b) not purchased at Kamwo, but a purchase of an equal or greater number of containers takes place at the time of drop off, or

c) a non-stocked size, which would require an additional processing fee.

d) please use the packaging tape to close the Sharps container cover tightly before dropping it off in our store.
