Granules

Kamwo herbs has a full granule formulary with over 300 single herbs and many traditional formulas in granule powder and capsule form. Our line of granules is manufactured by TianJiang Pharmaceuticals in JiangYin, China. Additionally, in order to maintain the largest selection of Chinese herbs, we supplement our full line of TianJiang granules with KPC granules to provide you with the most comprehensive line of herbs available.

 

Only the finest crops of herbs are selected for the extraction process. After their identity has been verified through chemical fingerprinting, the herbs are placed in large stainless steel vats where they are soaked for a given amount of time. Before the heating process begins, volatile oils are extracted from the herbs, these oils are later reintroduced during the granular stage. Once the oils are removed, the herbs are boiled down to concentrate the ingredients. The vacuum in the condensing vat causes further evaporation and concentration. In the final chamber, the thickened liquid is mixed with a base of dextrin starch and made into granules through further evaporation. It is during this last phase when the volatile oils are infused into the chamber and absorbed into the granules.
