He is the chairman of the Association of Chinese Herbalists, and a member of the Council Board of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. His books, The Potent Man’s Guide to Chinese Herbs, Food, Drink and Guide to Healthy Living for the Chinese in North America 3rd Edition are published by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and the Beijing Union Medical College in China. Dr. Leung has nearly 40 years of clinical experience in dermatology. His creams have been utilized for years in the Chinese community because of their high level of success and top quality.

and currently the owner of Kamwo Herbs. He was Kamwo’s General Manager from 1994-2006. Thomas has earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Professional Studies and a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He is a fourth generation TCM practitioner and has been schooled in Chinese Medicine since childhood. Mr. Leung’s background in Pharmacology and Chinese Medicine allows him to have a unique perspective on TCM and often regarded by others as a bridge between TCM and western medicine. Mr. Leung has been a member of Pacific College Herbs Faculty since 2001.

is responsible for formulating and aligning Kamwo WEB strategy with business initiatives. Leading the Kamwo team, he successfully establishes the company's WEB presence through new services such as Kamwo Practitioners Online and Kamwo's Online Store.

Julia holds a BA in Philosophy from the College of Charleston and is an operations management professional who brings to Kamwo many years of experience in restructuring business operations, financial systems, and corporate branding efforts within a multitude of industries. Previously, she was the Operations Manager of The Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness. In her spare time, Julia serves as the Executive Director of the Charna Radbell Foundation which sponsors a therapeutic support program for patients and their families at the New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital.

has been with Kamwo for over 10 years and was promoted in 2006 to be Kamwo's new General Manager. Mrs. Lin oversees the daily pharmacy operations and customer services.

is a faculty member at PCOM and has 30 years of clinical experience in TCM. Dr. Tsao is one of the first practitioners in NY state to receive an acupuncture license.

has earned a master degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College Of Oriental Medicine. Cynthia Siu is currently the Assistant Clinical Director at Grand Meridian Clinic where she coordinates patient care and clinical services. Ms. Siu has extensive clinical training in Gynecology and Internal Medicine.

Ms. Zhang is a graduate of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1990. She has been a teacher, researcher and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, Japan and the United States for over 10 years. Her specialties include treatment of HIV, cancer, gynecology and neurological disorders. She teaches Points 6, and is a Clinical Supervisor.

is a graduate of Tongji Medical College in Wuhan, and Beijing Traditional Chinese Medical College in Beijing, China; as well as a Scholarship recipient in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London, England. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Acupuncturist/Coordinating Manager for Harlem Hospital Center's Psychiatric Department Chemical Dependency Program. Dr. Shi brings with him more than 50 years clinical experience in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine.

Helen is part of the Kamwo team that provides support services to our online business.

is a design professional with over 25 years experience with such prestigious companies as Swatch, Sony, IBM, Express, Revlon, Victoria's Secret, The Gap/Banana Republic/Old Navy, Nautica, Aeropostale, Jimmy'Z, Ecko Red, DKNY and American Eagle. Created designs, logos and packaging for the USA Olympic Team for the Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010 and LONDON 2012 games in conjunction with Nike, Adidas and XP.

graduated from Parsons in 2009 with an AAS in Graphic Design. Prior to Kamwo, she worked in freelance positions. In her spare time, Thais enjoys photography and painting.

Peter is part of the online commerce team that handles and processes Kamwo’s online store orders. He monitors all orders from the moment we receive your order until it reaches your front door. Peter is super friendly and is always ready to help.

Michelle Rider, AP, DOM, Online Commerce Staff,
studied traditional Chinese medicine at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, The Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shanghai, China and graduated with a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. She has been involved in the health and wellness field for 10 years, and is certified in Acupuncture Injection Therapy and Auricular Medicine. Licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of Florida, Michelle has an interest in treating anxiety, depression and relieving pain associated to autoimmune disorders. Michelle has joined the Kamwo On-line team this fall and is currently working on licensure in New York.

Chava Quist, Online Commerce Staff,
Chava is a second year student at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (NY) in the MSTOM and Massage programs. She has worked as a Veterinary Nurse and Wildlife Rehabilitator for over 20 years and has an interest in integrating animal assisted therapy into the holistic care model. Chava is a Reiki Master/Teacher and a student of several other energetic healing modalities.

Patricia Botet, Online Commerce Staff,
Patricia Botet is currently matriculated at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine working on her MSTOM. She has a B.S. in Finance & International Business, holds a degree from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a Holistic Health Counselor, and has certifications from NYU in Hotel and Food & Beverage Operations. She is also trained as a Chinese tea master, Tibetan yoga teacher and Reiki Master. Patricia is delighted to be working and growing with the Kamwo team.

has a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU. Sydney maintains and develops the company applications.

is a Nationally Board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She has earned her Masters degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College in New York. Stacey works with the Kamwo Management team to improve services to the TCM practitioners. She has implemented many new programs at Kamwo. In addition to working at Kamwo, Stacey is in private practice, with offices at Grand Meridian. Her training includes clinical experiences at Kingston Hospital, Broome County Hospital, Yonkers Hospital, the Lincoln Recovery Center and the Fortune Society. Stacey also spent four years as an assistant to Marie-Louise Johnson, M.D., one of the country’s leading dermatologist. Stacey gained significant clinical experience treating patients with dermatological conditions. Stacey specializes in anxiety, depression, and pain disorders.

is in charge of the customer service team that handles the processing of prescription orders. She is the person that makes sure that your prescription is filled quickly and accurately. Only the very best managers get this position. Mandy is a graduate of Pace University with a hotel management degree.

assists in the processing of Kamwo Practitioners Online (KPO). Erica is a student at Berkeley College studying BBA Accounting. She is quite an asset to our customer service team.

has been with Kamwo Herbs for over 10 years. She oversees the mail order department and makes sure that each order is filled and shipped out on schedule.

has over 8 years of experience as a medical technican in China before working with Kamwo. Vicky operates Kamwo's Granule Accu-Check System, the first and most accurate filling system in TCM.

has been with Kamwo since 2006. He is presently working on a degree in sociology at CUNY. Sam is an important part of our retail customer services team. He assists practitioners and patients with their orders.

has been with Kamwo since 2006. Will assists in KPO orders. He has recently been promoted to being DADDY.

Daniel is a first year student at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, earning his Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. He is a greeter here at Kamwo, where he welcomes our guests and assists them in meeting their needs, while also providing assistance to other staff members if things get busy. He will also be leading store tours, providing an interesting and informative behind-the-scenes look at what goes on in such a fast-paced, and versatile Chinese herbal pharmacy. He is passionate about nature, Eastern Philosophy, and healing (especially herbal medicine).

graduated from the New York City campus of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she obtained her MSTOM degree. She continues to gain further clinical experience in the areas of pediatrics and Hepatitis C. She is also currently a massage student in the BPS program, with a focus on Tui Na. She received her BS in Biology from LeMoyne College.

is currently a student at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (NY) working on his master degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. After working 18 years in Education and with NYC Outward Bound, Albert is now pursuing his passion for Oriental Medicine.

has professional pharmacy training in China and has over 10 years experience in Zhenjiang before joining Kamwo’s pharmacy staff. Mr. Chen oversees the filling of herbal formulas and quality control.

has joined our professional pharmacy team in 2004. He has extensive training and work experience in Guangzhou province. Mr. Zhou’s work experience is exemplary of our pharmacy dispensing team’s commitment to quality.

conducts many of the back of house duties that we rely upon to keep our pharmacy running. Some of his duties includes: the cleaning, cutting, processing, pao zhi processing, powdering, etc. He has been trained in-house passing on the Kamwo Pharmacy tradition.
