Chinese and South Korean TCM facilities have long harnessed vacuum packing for preserving herbal teas. The process begins with raw herbs, which are then cooked in a stainless steel pressure cooker with filtered water. Once brewed, the tea is funneled through filters into a vacuum chamber and sealed into BPA-free, single-serve pouches. At room temperature, these vacuum-packed teas remain fresh for 30 days, and when refrigerated, their freshness extends up to 60 days.
