When kept at room temperature, vacuum-packed teas can be preserved for thirty (30) days.
When kept in a refrigerator, they can be preserved up to sixty (60) days.
Vacuum packing technology has been utilized by Chinese and South Korean TCM facilities for many years. Herbal formulas are filled as a raw formula, then cooked in a stainless steel pressure cooker using filtered water. After it is prepared, the tea is piped through filters entering into a vacuum packing chamber for packing into a BPA free, single serve pouch.
