Hypochondriac pain, vertigo, headache, dry throat and mouth, bitter taste in the mouth, fatigue, reduced appetite. Tongue is pale-red, pulse is wiry and deficient. There may be alternating chills and fever, and irregular menstruation or breast distension.
Dosage note: The original preparation calls for the ingredients to be ground to powder and taken in 6-9g doses as a draft with Sheng Jiang and Bo He. To prepare as a decoction, use the dosages in parentheses and add Sheng Jiang and Bo He
